Professional career
Degree in Biochemistry in 2003 from the University of Navarra.
PhD in Biochemistry in 2009 by the University of Navarra.
Postdoctoral stay at Imperial College London (2012-2016), Stevens Group.
Since 2017 he is a researcher at the Cima University of Navarra and is part of the team of the Cell Therapy Area of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra.
Coordinator of the Regenerative Medicine research group since 2020.
RESEARCH AREAS
- Participation and leadership in national and international research projects, including AES (ISCIII), Government of Navarra, H2020, AECC.
AREAS OF INTEREST
- Design, manufacture and maturation of human cardiac tissues for tissue regeneration.
- Development of new testing platforms for cardiotoxicity detection.
- New biomaterials.
- Additive manufacturing-3D printing.
Activity
As a researcher
Author of more than 30 scientific publications in national and international journals, being first author in 11 of them.
He has given several conferences in national and international congresses related to his specialty.
