RESEARCH AREAS

  • Has participated in 55 research projects (20 as principal investigator and 35 as a collaborating investigator) and in 3 clinical trials, as well as industry contracts.

AREAS OF INTEREST

  • Research: pediatric tumors, primarily the development of early-phase clinical trials for central nervous system tumors and sarcomas based on modified adenoviruses.
  • Clinical care: genetic counseling in cancer and other specialty areas, clinical geneticist, and interpretation of genetic variation.

  • Full Professor of Genetics in Pediatrics (2016).
  • Faculty Lead for the Biomedical Research Diploma, Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra (2009).
  • Positive evaluation of research activity by the National Evaluation Commission (CNEAI Advisory Committee #04) for the periods 1995-2000, 2001-2006, 2007-2012, and 2013-2018.
  • Has supervised 12 doctoral dissertations.
  • Has supervised 10 undergraduate and master’s final projects.

  • Author of more than 171 scientific articles and more than 200 conference presentations.
  • Has delivered more than one hundred invited lectures.
