Project information
LIRT is a collaborative project which aims to test the best combination of immunotherapy and radiotherapy agents to achieve synergistic clinical responses. Two clinical trials are proposed encompassing radiotherapy (SBRT or proton beam) in conjunction with intratumoral radiotherapy in patients suffering four frequent solid malignancies (NSCLC, colorectal cancer, Triple-negative breast cancer) and for non-resectable squamous head and neck cancer in combination with proton beam radiotherapy. To achieve these goals, LIRT is gathering the expertise of leading researchers in Cancer Immunotherapy across Spanish, Italy, and the UK.
